Classic Kiwi Neighbourhood Bar

Every bloke or blokess needs a place where they can unwind with a cool beer and good old chin wag with their mates or matesses. Here you’ll find tall tales being told, pool balls being shot, live sport on big screens and hearty food being savoured. And of course it will all be washed down with life’s essentials – icy cold, thirst quenching beer. Above the bar you’ll see cool creations by local sculptor Garry Dunn, all made from bits and pieces he found around the property. On the walls you’ll see Riverhead’s history – stories about the people who lived here way back when. Now it’s up to you to make a few stories of your own.

We don’t like to boast, but we do believe The Boat House is one of the best function venues close to Central Auckland…being only 20 minutes by car.
