Waterfront Wedding Venue, 25 Minutes from Auckland City
The Boat House at The Riverhead hosts your ceremony and reception in one place, beside the river in Riverhead, West Auckland. We seat up to 150 guests for a plated/buffet or up to 225 for a cocktail-style reception, and our own team looks after the food, the bar and the running of the day.
Ceremony and Reception in One Venue
Exchange vows on the lawn with the river behind you, then move a few steps to your reception. Nobody needs a bus or a second venue, and your guests stay in one place all night.
Indoor and Outdoor, Whatever the Weather
Our permanent outdoor marquee sits beside the lawn, so a wet forecast doesn't mean a change of plan. If the weather turns, the ceremony moves under cover and keeps the river view.
Small and Intimate Weddings
The space works for a dinner for 40 as well as a full party. Couples who married here in winter 2026 told us the room felt warm and personal with a small group.
Food and Drink by The Riverhead
Catering and bar service come from our own kitchen and bar, so there is one team to deal with from first menu tasting to last drinks. We can also recommend celebrants, stylists and musicians who know the venue.
