Deacon’s Kitchen
The original kitchen area when the pub was first built 1876 is now the perfect place for a private function or meeting.
The original room was a separate out-building with a floor about 25cm lower than the main building and an open alley way between them. (This must have kept the serving staff fit.) Today photos of Mr. & Mrs. Deacon welcome you to this intimate function room that can be booked for private functions or meetings for up to 24 people. It comes fully equipped with the latest audiovisual gear, but like everything at The Riverhead it reflects the heritage of years past.
